“The Diary of a Sugarbaby” by J.Q. Gagliastro Is Unmatched

November 23rd, 2024

“Most indie authors sell on average no more than 250 copies of their book in its entire lifetime.”

Within the first year of its publication, The Diary of a Sugarbaby (published by Gaggy Press, an American imprint) quadrupled this stat.

I put my blood, sweat, and tears into marketing the hell out of my book. I ensured to sell my book across every platform and in every format (i.e. Amazon, Kindle, Ingram, consignment, my website, wide distribution, paperback, hardcover, special editions, ebook, audiobook coming soon!). I contacted bookstores and curated a fabulous albeit exhausting book tour.

In the end, it’s all thanks to my readers. Those who purchased copies. Those who are asking for my next book. Those who repost and tell their friends. After a year of being in the public eye, it is crystal clear to me my readers are the most important part of this entire process. Thank you, my readers!
