Requirements

You should be in Philly or nearby as the reading must be in person. If not, please check out my travel schedule. If I happen to be in your city, book me for when I’m there!
Payment must be made in cash or via Venmo/Cashapp before the reading.
The reading should take place in a public setting that isn’t too cacophonous (e.g. Playa Bowls on Locust & 11th, Schuylkill River Park, Parkway Central Library, Le Pain Quotidien on Walnut, the Woodlands in West Philly, or a place of your choosing).
I prefer a one-to-one. If you’re booking me for an event, please make sure I have space where I can listen and talk.
I agree to maintain confidentiality and to uphold a judgment-free zone.
Please come into the reading with an open mind. Think of this experience as two new friends yapping about the stars, perpetuating confirmation bias. Don’t take it too seriously! Find nuggets of wisdom. Open up. And just have fun!

For the Sicilian Seawitch Spread

60 mins - $100

For the Celtic Cross Spread

75 mins - $115

Loyal customers get a 5% discount every time they book me. The pricing is nonnegotiable as it takes into account time, energy, and money (i.e. years of experience and knowledge, spiritual toil, and getting to and fro the location). Depending on the location, I may have to Uber or bike. The cost of two Ubers would be roughly $20, so for a standard reading, my profit margin would be $35, and that’s if we don’t go somewhere to eat. Putting a price tag on a spiritual service doesn’t sit right with me, so I went with what feels fair. Tips are welcomed but not expected.

Standard Readings

Past-Present-Future (PPF) is my most popular spread. It confronts your childhood, your current state, and what you wish to become. If you are not in a place to confront your past, this spread is not for you.
You-Me-Us (YMU) is a romantic spread. Do you want to know if the boy you’re talking to is a fuckboi? Want to see how he really feels about you? Where things are headed? If so, this spread is for you!
External-Internal-Solution (EIS) is a spread that confronts an issue or conflict. It reveals your external influences, your inner battles, and the solution to rise above these petty bitches.

The Celtic Cross Spread (CCS) is the most comprehensive spread. It is, at minimum, a ten-card spread that often unveils the bigger picture of one’s life and answers many broad questions. Where does your heart lie? What are your lifelong obstacles? How has your past influenced your present self? What will occur in the near future? What is your subconscious trying to tell you? Who and what are influencing you? What are your fears? What are your dreams? And what does your future hold?

The Sicilian Seawitch Spread (SSS) is a spread created by me, wise fool J.Q. Gagliastro. The spread focuses on seven aspects of one’s life (e.g. family, friendships, career, hobbies, business, self, spirituality, home, partnership, public image, education, finances, etc.). What I love about this spread is that you get to choose the seven aspects. If you book me for this spread, please come to the reading with seven aspects in mind. They can be seven aspects of your life that mean the most to you or that you need clarification on. The aspects could include ones not listed above, like community or intimacy. Please note that I do not do readings on health. Please consult a medical practitioner for health advice.

Moon Sign Reading Details

This would be an add-on to your tarot reading. I’d use my charts to calculate your moon sign. We would then read your moon description together and talk about what you find true and false. It’s not much work for me, hence the low price of $15. But I do listen and ask the right questions. Think of this as you just talking about yourself. Moon signs are my favorite aspect of the birth chart because I find they represent how we feel about ourselves, not necessarily what others think about us or even see in us.

Full Chart Mapping Details

This could be an add-on to your tarot reading or an individual purchase. This is a comprehensive mapping of your birth chart. I’d essentially draw out your chart for you before we meet. It takes me four to five hours to calculate and draw out every planetary placement (Sun to Pluto), every house (Ascendant to the House of Secrets), every aspect (conjunctions, oppositions, squares, trines, and sextiles), and your Chiron (which represents your past hurts and shows you how to heal and grow from them). It is pricey because it is very time-consuming and requires scrupulous attention. Please only order this if you genuinely want it. Once booked, I will ask for you birth info (date, time, and place) and $100 of the $350 as a down payment (paid via Venmo) before we meet as I need to know you are serious. During our 75 minutes together (maybe longer), I will break down and describe your chart for you, and you can take your chart home.

Mini Bio

J.Q. Gagliastro is a Kahlil Gibran-reading, Erykah Badu-listening, INTJ-A tarot reader with a background in Western Astrology. They have a stellium in Sagittarius and moon in Cancer. In Vedic Astrology, they’re a double Scorpio, moon Gemini. And in Chinese Astrology, they’re a fire rat, duh. J.Q. finds that their spiritual nature is tethered to their connection to oneself, their gender, their philosophies, their mistakes, their way of creating, their culture, and their connection to others.
